"Baker of the Day" Fundraiser

Over the past decade Tom and I have been blessed with a supportive and bread loving community.  Our bakery has flourished and grown to a busy little bakery cafe.  In all that we have recieved we feel it only fitting that we give back to those in our commuity.  Week after week, we donate our breads and cafe items to your schools, churches, and other non-profits and from time to time we donate our bread and resources through our BAKER of the DAY events.  This year we are partnering with Taylor Blanton (former employee) and his wife Melissa Blanton to support the creation of a Comfort room at Duke Children's Hospital.  On Saturday July 28th we will open our doors to the community to support Luke's Legacy and build this Comfort room at Duke.  100% of the sales on July 28th will be donated to Duke Children's Hospital  to create the Luke Michael Blanton Comfort room, for other families of the Duke Intensive Care Nursery to use during their time at the hospital.
WOW!  What an outpouring of supprt for our Baker of the Day event this past Saturday.  On Saturday, July 28th we packed the house and raised over $8,000 for Luke's Legacy fund for the creation of the Luke Michael Blanton Comfort Room in the Duke Intensive Care Nursery.  What is more amazing is that your donation will continue to bless others in the future by providing a quiet comfortable room for families when they are going through a difficult time. Thank you for your gift.
